New Beginnings: Students Report for the May 2025 Intake

Each dawn presents opportunities for improvement, growth and rejuvenation at personal, group, organizational or national levels. Monday 12th May 2025 presented one of those most sought after opportunities.

In pursuit of their respective career paths, new students reported for the May Intake across all campuses, starting off their journey to greatness! They braced the chilly morning weather and turned up in large numbers, a bold step that would launch them into the deep. According to the renowned Chinese philosopher and writer Lao Tzu, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." They were accorded a warm welcome by the St. Paul's community led by the Prof. James Kombo, the Vice Chancellor who expressed immense gratitude to them for choosing to advance their studies at St. Paul’s University (SPU) during a brief orientation session to acquaint the students and parents with facilities, services programmes and aspects that made St. Paul’s the University of Choice!

The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by the university’s top management and staff who echoed the VC’s sentiments and urged them to make the most out of their stay here in order have a fruitful scholary journey. Members of the Board of Management and Senate Each head of department highlighted noteworthy aspects in their areas of jurisdiction that would go a long way in making their stay fruitful. The audience was thrilled by the exciting campus life that would be significant in gaining a holistic education: academic trips abroad, student exchange programmes, several sporting activities, state-of-the-art facilities including telecommunication infrastructure, home-away-from-home accommodation facilities, spiritual formation initiatives and a conducive environment for study.

The insightful session ended in a networking session over a cup of tea where parents and students interacted with staff including the top management to learn more about SPU. We wish them all the best in the endeavours.
