St. Paul’s University, School of Theology, has officially opened applications for its prestigious scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. If you are ready to take your ministry and academic journey to the next level starting this September, here is everything you need to know.
Available Scholarship Categories
St. Paul's University is offering targeted financial support through two major scholarship funds:
1. Kirk-in-Actie Scholarships
- Target Audience: Female students.
- Slots Available: Ten (10) scholarships.
2. EMW Scholarships
A total of 23 scholarships are available under the EMW fund, distributed as follows:
- ICMR: Eight (8) scholarships.
- MTh (Gender and Theology specialization): Five (5) scholarships.
- African Instituted Churches / NCCK Members: Ten (10) scholarships dedicated to students from African instituted churches and denominations that are members of the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK).
Do You Qualify? (Selection Criteria)
To be considered for these life-changing scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Commencement: You must be a commencing student starting your studies in the September 2026–2027 academic year.
- Church Affiliation: You must belong to one of the following partner churches or denominations:
- Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK)
- Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA)
- Methodist Church of Kenya (MCK)
- Reformed Church of East Africa (RCEA)
- Africa Instituted Churches
- Churches/denominations that are members of the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK)
How to Apply
Getting your application in is a straightforward process, but you must ensure you use the correct forms:
- Obtain the Forms: Application forms for both Bachelor of Divinity (BD) and Master's programs are available directly from the Dean of Theology office, or you can request them via email at

- Submit via Sealed Envelope: Place your completed hard-copy application and supporting documents into a sealed envelope.

Key Deadline
All applications must reach the Dean’s office on or before Tuesday, 30th June 2026. Late submissions will not be considered, so don't wait until the last minute!
