The evening of Saturday 25th October 2025, for the 2025 finalists was uniquely defined by the resounding melodies stemming from the serene exquisitely decorated hall at the heart of Jumuia Conference and County Home in Limuru. At exactly 3.00 pm, the immaculately dressed ladies and gentlemen streamed into the venue luminated by the radiance of the hall’s lighting. One after the other, they each took their seats looking forward to nothing short of bliss.
As time went by, the Top University’s management led by the Vice Chancellor made their way to the venue, equally welcome by the warmth typical of a perfect blend of beautifully draped surfaces and furniture, lighting and gleam on the graduand’s faces. Thereafter, arrival of the Guest Speaker, Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, former Cabinet secretary for Defense paved way for official start off for the event.
Students were treated to mouthwatering delicacies, song and dance, and words of wisdom from the speakers who weighed on the day theme, “Beyond the Gown.” While delivering the keynote address, Hon. Wamalwa emphasized that education finds its true meaning beyond the classroom in service, integrity, and impact. He reminded the graduands that their greatest test begins now in how they use their knowledge to uplift others, lead with humility, and serve with excellence. Looking ahead, he urged the finalists to go beyond success and pursue significance to build, to serve, and to shine wherever life places them. When education meets purpose, transformation follows for self, society, and nation. Also present was Hon. John Kaguchia, Member of Parliament for Mukurweini Constituency, who inspired the graduands to “achieve their highest at their youngest” a powerful reminder that youth is not a waiting room for leadership, but a season for action.
The inaugural event was a celebration of resilience, faith, and new beginnings for a generation ready to shape the future with courage and purpose.
A hearty congratulations to the graduating class of 2025! Go transform the world!
