Staff and Students undergo Training on Disaster Management

The contemporary work environment is prone to various hazards that affect employees well being and to a great extent, their output. Safeguarding employees welfare is synonymous with an organization's overall success.

Furthermore, the Occupation Health and Safety Act, 2007 emphasizes safety of work places. It is against this backdrop that staff and students underwent training on Disaster Management Awareness on Tuesday 4th April 2023 at the main campus in Limuru, that was facilitated by SafetyNet Consultants. The one-day evet began with two successive training sessions on Disaster Management Training which were succeeded by a mock fire drill, in accordance with the Fire Risk Reduction Rules, 2007, that requires every workplace is required to conduct a fire drill at least once every 12 months.
