Furthermore, the Occupation Health and Safety Act, 2007 emphasizes safety of work places. It is against this backdrop that staff and students underwent training on Disaster Management Awareness on Tuesday 4^th April 2023 at the main campus in Limuru, that was facilitated by SafetyNet Consultants. The one-day evet began with two successive training sessions on Disaster Management Training which were succeeded by a mock fire drill, in accordance with the Fire Risk Reduction Rules, 2007, that requires every workplace is required to conduct a fire drill at least once every 12 months.
