Robin Njiru is the Regional Business Lead (Public Sector) in West, East & Central Africa at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serves in the University Council as a representative of the Anglican Church of Kenya. He is a multicultural and transformative business leader with over 22 years’ of experience in general management, strategy, sales, and operations; leading teams across the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Robin has held senior leadership roles in reputable technology firms, where his unmatched technical leadership occasioned substantial increases in market share and surpassing annual revenue targets. He has unmatched proficiency in Organizational Development, Sales Leadership, Enterprise Customer Engagement, Channel and SME Management, and possesses significant policy and regulatory experience. 

Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Diploma in Marketing Management. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Leading Sales Transformation.

In recognition of his stellar business leadership, Robin has received numerous accolades, including the EMEA South General Business Leadership Award (2018), seven quarterly business awards from Microsoft, and the East & Southern Africa “Big Goals” Award (2010). He is also a respected industry thought leader and a regular speaker at regional press and industry panels. Beyond his corporate career, he has served in multiple leadership capacities within the Anglican Church of Kenya, including as a Diocesan Chairman and Parish Chairman.
