Doris Adhiambo Okello is the Director, Human Resource at Baldon Construction and General Engineering Co. Ltd and serves in the University Council. She has a wealth of experience in Human Resource Management (HRM) spanning two decades with unmatched proficiency in recruitment and selection, formulation of HRM and development policies and strategies, training, coaching and mentoring, and management of employee relations. She also possesses exceptional planning and organization skills with a proven track record of improving staff efficiency by according staff necessary support, through diverse human resource functions, to achieve organizational goals. 

Doris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree - Human Resource Management Option, Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Management, and Business Education Single Group Certificate in Secretarial Studies. She has also undergone Industrial Based Learning where she gained specific skills in: Implementation of Human Resource Policies and procedures, Employment Act Compliance, adherence to National values and principles of governance as stipulated in the Constitution, Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), payroll, processing of staff leave applications, performance appraisal and management, adherence to Health and Safety Policies, and Financial Management.  

She is a Certified Human Resource Professional Kenya (CHRP-K), member of the Institute of Human Resource Management and Membership Coordinator Business Network International (BNI).
