1. IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software
This course is ideal for high school leavers or students who don’t have prior IT skills. It equips students with computer fundamentals and introduces them to advanced concepts.
2. CCNA (CISCO Certified Networking Associate)
CISCO CCNA is a Four (4) module course, each taking at least Six (6) weeks. The entire course could go for approximately Six (6) Months. One is supposed to sit for an exam after each module, before proceeding to the next and then after the four modules one sits for the certification examination which covers all the modules.
St. Paul’s University collaborates with CISCO networking academy to offer this professional certification course by providing the classroom and computer labs as well as instructors. CISCO provides the course material and assessments for certifications for the students.
For a student to qualify for CCNA Routing and Switching Certification course, they need to have a High School certificate with D+ and above, or have IT Essentials: Hardware and Software certification, or be already pursuing Diploma or Degree program.
3. CCNA Security
This course covers installation and troubleshooting network integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data and devices. To pursue it,one is required to have done CCNA Routing and Switching.
4. CCNA Security
This is an advanced configuration, installation and trouble-shooting of enterprise networks that entails management of wireless, security and voice applications. CCNA Security is a pre requisite to this course.
5. Linux Essentials
This course provides users with essential in administration of open source Linux Operating Systems.
6. Voice Over Internet Protocol
This is an introduction to voice on a data network (VoIP), teaching students how to configure and connect a basic VoIP-to-VoIP network. It is essential to after doing the CCNA Routing and Switching.
7. Cloud Computing
This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to appreciate and apply various technological concepts which constitute cloud computing. Students are provided with basic know how needed by students to mitigate cloud computing issues.
