  • The Most Rev. Jackson Nasoore Ole Sapit is the Kenyan Anglican Bishop. He was elected as the sixth Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church of Kenya on 20th May 2016 and was installed on 3rd July 2016 at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi. The Rev. Sapit was the Diocesan Mission and Development Coordinator at the Diocese of Nakuru, from 2003 to 2004. He was Suffragan Bishop at the Diocese of Kericho from 2005 to 2007. He has been Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Kericho since 2008. His first Degree in Divinity is from St. Paul’s university where he joined in 1994 and graduated in 1997. From 2002 to 2003, he was at the University of Reading in the UK where he studied his Master’s degree in Social Development and Sustainable Livelihoods.

  • The Rt. Revd. Dr. Anthony Poggo
    The Archbishop’s Advisor on Anglican Affairs, Lambeth Palace, UK

  • Anthony Poggo is the Archbishop’s Adviser on Anglican Communion Affairs. Previously he spent nine years as Diocesan Bishop of Kajo-Keji in South Sudan, serving as both teacher and pastor. He also worked with Scripture Union in Sudan and Uganda, and obtained his Masters in Theology in 1994, before becoming Executive Director of Christian NGO ‘Across’. In 2012 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate for his role in mobilising the church in service of the community. His responsibilities in his current role in the Lambeth Palace include providing advice to the Archbishop on his relationship towards the provinces of the Anglican Communion; developing and strengthening relationships throughout the Communion and support the Church of England’s engagement with the Communion; managing and providing leadership to the Lambeth Anglican Communion team; and developing closer links between Lambeth Palace and the Anglican Communion Office.

  • The Rt. Revd. Joel Waweru (Kenya)
    Bishop, Diocese of Nairobi, The Anglican Church of Kenya

  • The Rt. Rev. Joel Waweru is the presiding Bishop for the Anglican Church of Kenya, Nairobi Diocese. Previously, he worked with various organizations including Church Army Africa. Bishop Waweru has also served as a Priest in various churches such as St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Minnesota, Diocese of Sheffield and St. Silas, Broomhall, Sheffield where he was the Presiding Minister. In Kenya, he has served as the Vicar at St. Polycarp Mlango Kubwa and ACK St. James BuruBuru. While serving at St. James, he was Collated and installed Canon and inducted as the Archdeacon with the Cathedral Archdeaconry. Bishop Joel has a Masters Degree in Theology from the Hallam Pastoral Institute Sheffield (University of Leeds UK). His first degree was from the East Africa School of Theology.
