Introduction

HIV/AIDS is the single most significant crisis in Africa today, so there is a need for qualified practitioners who can mobilize communities to respond. Church leaders, Human Resource Managers, Pastors, Teachers, Health Care Workers and Community Workers can enroll for this course, all with an existing practice in HIV/AIDS care at some level in the community.

The uniqueness of the program is that it offers hands on experience in the formation of community transformation groups referred to as base-groups in the curriculum. The Dissertation has a rigorous approach to its assessment whose objective is to ground the student in research, critical thinking and analysis.

Admission Requirements

A bachelor's Degree with at least an upper Second class honors; or

A Bachelor's degree with a lower Second Class Honors and two years work experience in a related field, or

A Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on 4.0 scale (B+) or the equivalent, from an accredited University.

Duration

Two (2) years (4 Semesters).
