Introduction

This course has been designed to provide fundamental Information Technology (IT) and Business knowledge and principles, serving as a bridging facility to subsequent Business Information Technology diploma courses. It therefore covers most fundamental aspects of IT.

Objectives

The objectives of the Certificate in Business Information Technology (CBIT) are to:

• Prepare student for progression to diploma in BIT courses
• Equip students with basic IT skills useful in the business day to day activities.

• KCSE grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent
