The Deputy Vice Chancellor- Academic released an update on the status of the academic affairs in the University with respect to contingency measures taken to enhance continuity in learning despite the uncertainties brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The DVC-AA noted that pending course work for the January-April semester had been completed with the aid of utilities such as email, WhatsApp, the e-learning portal and phone calls. He lauded staff for the job well done.

In the same spirit, learning for the May- August semester will be switched to distance and e-learning. Students will interact with lecturers through the virtual learning portal, access learning material and submit assessments through the portal. Requisite steps are being undertaken to enhance smooth transition of the mode of study.
