The St. Paul’s University fraternity on Friday 5th October, celebrated installation of the second Chancellor, Prof. Margaret Kobia, the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs. The ceremony was coupled with the university’s 27th Graduation Ceremony during which Degrees were conferred and Diplomas awarded to more than 2000 graduands.

Prof. Margaret Kobia took over the mantle from the outgoing Chancellor, Rev. Dr. Samuel Kobia whose tenure was characterized by tremendous growth of the university to world class standards in various aspects. We are proud of you sir, may the good Lord bless you richly!

Prof. Margaret Kobia brings in a wealth of experience in academia and administration whose blend with St. Paul’s Values, Vision and able Management will definitely grow the institution to greater heights.

Her predecessor presented instruments of power (Mace, Flag, Seal, Charter and Logo) during a colorful ceremony graced by the University Council, trustees, partners and several government officials. While delivering her maiden speech, she encouraged the graduands to not just sit back and wait for opportunities to present themselves but go out there and use the knowledge acquired to create opportunities and transform the world. She also encouraged the congregants to embrace servant leadership and seek mentors who can nurture them, and are open to mutual sharpening of each another.

“Karibu Sana” Madam Chancellor.
