Diploma in Information and Communication Technology

Diploma in Information and Communication Technology prepares competent graduates by imparting them with technical expertise and hands-on experience in System's Development and support, management of database systems, Networks Administration, hardware installation and maintenance. This paves way for exellence in their career paths.

Course Structure

The course is offered in three modules. The first module has nine units, the second module has eight units while the third one is assigned six units. At the end of each module, students undertake an information technology project to assess their practical skills.

At the end of the course students are required to undertake the internship program to have a feel of the industry.

  • May intake, for the class based learning module.

Entry Requirements

  • KCSE aggregate average of at least C plus (C+) with a C+ in Mathematics and English or its equivalent.

Student Evaluation

All units are assesed within the semesters they are taken. Assessment shall comprise of continuous assessments tests, projects and the final examination. The final examination is administered by the Kenya National Examinations Council.
